Yadiel Omar Casillas

Yadiel, known by his students as Mr. Jay, is a native to Puerto Rico, enjoying teaching, gigging, and recording in Southern California. 

He is passionate about using music education to improve brain functioning, provide opportunity, and cultivate a sense of pride in his students. He truly believes any child can learn to play any instrument, and his enthusiasm for learning is contagious.

As a performer, Yadiel is confident, soulful and a quick study. He loves the opportunity to collaborate with other musicians on assorted projects, specializing in Piano, Keyboard, Salsa, Latin Rock, Cumbia, Bolero, Latin Jazz, Jazz, Bossanova, Gospel, Blues, Rock, Top 40, Pop.
